A smaller, more careful search firm.
Sortiary LLC is a contingency search firm based in New York. We recruit real estate and litigation attorneys for mid-sized, boutique and national firms hiring in the city.
Most attorneys we work with are busy, well placed and not actively looking. So we keep it simple. We write only about a specific role that fits, we name the pay up front, and we never share anything without permission.
Firms pay our fee only when they hire someone we introduce. Candidates never pay anything.

Specific, not spray
We read each attorney's published experience against the role before we write. If the fit isn't there, we don't send the email.
Your time, respected
No phone screens with us. An assistant gathers what the firm needs over text, on your schedule, so a move can be explored without taking a call.
Reviewed before it goes
We review every package ourselves before it reaches a firm, and nothing is sent without the candidate's approval.
